Easter Thoughts….

Happy Easter Holidays! Hope it was a good holiday for most.

Alrightz, this is going to be a pretty touchy blog as it’s gotta to do with my religion. I seldom comment and blog anything on it, but I felt that I had to do so…. so non-believers please bear with me. Some random thoughts for the past few days.
It was a Fantastic Easter service on Saturday at the CHC. The drama production was so heart wrenching that it inflicted pain in me just by watching. It re-iterates how much Jesus had done for us to redeem our sins and how much God loves every individual one of us. The part that created the most impact on me was when Maggie was gang raped. Her husband not only despised her, he abandoned her dictating that it was her fault for wearing revealing clothes. Maggie wanted to end her life when Jesus appeared and healed her wound. Jesus is not just our friend, our savior but also a healer.

A healer of all wounds – be it relationships, family, friendships, diseases, sins etc
Most of the time, people forgets that he is also a healer. We let hatred, anger and disbeliefs to prevail forgetting that it prevents us from being healed. I have made those same mistakes too in life and what about you? Healing takes times, it’s not instantaneous but we let those feelings get the better of us. It came to a point where I would rather not speak anymore to matters that have dwelled too long and prefer to let God do his miracles. God will show the way, just the matter of time. All we had to do was to cast aside our cloaks to receive his grace.

1. Cast away the cloak of shame and failure
2. Cast away the cloak of sickness and disease
3. Cast away the cloak of guilt and sin
