Day 1 (22 Apr) – Taiwan here we come!!

Alright I am never going to take Jetstar ever again when the flight is more than 3 hours long! Goodness… the cramp space we get is just to uncomfortable to seat for a more than 5 hours flight! Yesh more than 5 hours… should have booked earlier for SQ when the prices are low. So lesson learnt.. plan your trip early!!



Oh well terminal one was undergoing major renovation and there isn’t anything much to shop there.. so I started to cam whore with Samuel =P kekeke *as usual bleah* Since there wasn’t going to be any entertainment on the plane… I brought a book along and it’s twilight hahah bought it like for 6 months and I can finally seat down and read the book proper ^^



Nuthin much to eat on the plane too and are costly to do so….the cup noodles are like 5 bucks per cup and our coke cost 3 bucks per can…. Yeo’s packet drinks are like 2 bucks!! I guess that’s the way of making money for Jetstar I guess… and the flight ticket ain’t cheap either … approx 500 plus plus plus lol =x

Wish Hotel is where we stayed in. It’s a fantastic hotel that you can’t miss!! It’s even better than the famous “da shun” and “rainbow”. The amenities that they provide is simply amazing for 100 bucks per nite! There’s sauna in your room with Jacuzzi shower, heater and washing toilet bowl , hair dryer, towels and the variety tv channels provided. OMG!! Everything that u look for in a 5 star hotel they just have it, minus the bathtub though.. otherwise it’s a simply heavenly place to stay in and I enjoyed myself.




ithout unpacking our luggage we went down to Ximending to hunt for our first meal and drum roll**** Ah Zhong Mian Xian** yes the famous mee sua that everyone is talking about. OMG it’s really damm tasty with the pig intestine ooooo my “chang zhi” whahaha. BTW, it tastes different from the mee sua u get in Singapore. The sauce/gravy served is very much “lu wei”/well flavoured and yet it’s not starchy at all. I was so hungry that I ask Samuel to order the big bowl!! Kekeke

Afterwhich, we just walked about the area and eat the street stalls as we jalan jalan = P We went to this particular store which I think is 3 or 4 storey high, they sells magazines, comics and many books. It’s a must-go if u like the Chinese magazines that are only available in Kino Singapore.

Wish hotel is located at the Shuanglian station and it’s only 3 stops away from the Taipei Main station and 4 stops away from ximending. That’s makes our hotel really accessible to many areas that we decided to go… it’s less than 15 mins altogether
